Rue de la Butte-aux-Cailles, the ideal place for those who love conviviality, festivities and a good time
Just a stone's throw from Place d'Italie, the Butte-aux-Cailles district has retained its village charm, which before 1860 was part of Gentilly. With its narrow lanes and alleyways, this is a charming area. Its 19th and 20th century houses evoke the days when it was populated by workers. The Place de la Commune de Paris is a reminder of the struggles of 1871. You can stop off at one of its cafés, ideal gathering places for those who love conviviality, parties and good cheer.

Very pretty district of Paris, unknown enough and relatively quiet... The side streets are lined with cafés and restaurants. You really like a village and not in central Paris!

On y va quand on a envie de s'éloigner des touristes et du bruit de la capitale.
A conseiller si l'on veut fuir le Paris trop fréquenté.
