First and foremost, it's an unparalleled venue, designed by architectural star Renzo Piano. Opened just over ten years ago, it's an immense shell of wood and glass, set over five levels between two buildings. On display are objects from the cinema "before", like so many treasures! A 70-seat auditorium also shows silent films accompanied by a pianist, and guided tours and workshops for children are regularly organized.

Open Tuesday from 1 to 8 pm; Wednesday to Friday from 1 to 7 pm; Saturday from 11:30 am to 7 pm. Adults: 7 € (5,50€ in reduced rate (senior, student, unemployed, - 26 years old)). Children (up to 14 years old) : 4,50 €. This ticket includes a film session and access to the exhibition rooms.

You'll discover 16,000 posters, signs, models and drawings ; 2.3 million photographs; 3,650 pieces of equipment and accessories; 6,110 periodical titles, as well asnumerous other works . In addition, themuseum organizes a variety of activities for young visitors, focusing mainly on film techniques and the history of Pathé, the first major film industry. The Jérôme-Seydoux–Pathé Foundation is a recognized public benefit foundation, created on 9 May 2006.
It works to preserve and make the historical heritage of Pathè accessible to the public. Bringing together all of Pathé's non-cinematic collections since its creation in 1896, the Foundation is a research center intended for historians, teachers, students and all those interested in cinema. It thus promotes the history of cinema through the history of Pathé.
The headquarters of the foundation, designed by Renzo Piano, was inaugurated on 10 September 2014 on the site of the Gobelibs Theater which operated as a cinema under the name of Le Rodin in 1934 and Gaumont Gobelins-Rodin in the years preceding its transformation.

Elle promeut ainsi l’histoire du cinéma à travers l’histoire de Pathé.
