Butte aux Cailles is a lively, fun street. We are so glad to have found Tandem, which happened because the place we were going was closed.
A lovely mild evening to sit outside, sample a variety of wines and decide to order a creative and tasty light dinner. Vegetable soup varies, tonight it was cauliflower with fresh chevre. Then an ample plate of chanterrelles/girolles, perfectly cooked. Last was tempura of zucchini and eggplant, light crispy batter. We will be back!

Restaurant trés sympas à la butte aux cailles. Très bonne viande, plateau de fromage et charcuterie au top. Propriétaires très sympatiques proposant.t toujours de supers vins.

Je ne connaissais pas le coin mon mari.mon fils et moi avons découvert ce petit trésor de restaurant accueil vraiment très très sympa et comme je n'aime pas trop de manger n'importe où là c'était le bonheur pour moi et j'ai bien discuté avec un des frères. Celui avec la chemise exotique,..ben oui je suis de l'île de la Réunion ???? il me reconnaitra je crois .en tout cas je vous conseille .. merci beaucoup pour cette Bel accueil ,

Petit resto tenu par 2 frères très sympathiques. Les produits sont de qualité ainsi que le vin !
Découverte aussi de la bière « loirette » très agréable à l’apéritif.

Très bon restaurant à la bute aux cailles tenu par deux frères et leur mère. L'ambiance très familiale. Les propriétaires sont sincèrement attentionnés. On sent que cette attention n'est pas commerciale ni surfaite. La cuisine est excellente. Par exemple leur tartare est un régal : tout en nuances. Leur cheese-cake est une tuerie. On sent qu'il y a ici une grande attention à la qualité des produits. Quant aux vins ils sont pour la plupart bio en biodynamie ou nature. Il y a un grand choix et ils sont très bons. Vraiment une très bonne adresse.

Un vendredi midi, je me décide à franchir la porte de ce restaurant. Je prend un paleron de boeuf. Très bon pour 14€50.
La viande est bien cuite et assez tendre.

Super acogedor y con una carta de picoteo riquísima. Nosotros pedimos la tabla de quesos y estaba espectacular. Además son rápido, amable y eficaces

Let me preface this by saying that in the five years I've lived in Paris, this has never EVER happened to me. So, after a long day of walking during the heatwave, my husband and I decided to have dinner. Food was ok, wine was good, service was by a kind old lady. When it was time to pay, my husband gestures for me to come in as the person behind the bar (owner, I assume) wants to pour us complimentary shots as we had spent a tiny fortune over there. Well, what do you know, he does not say hello or return my greeting, and as far as he was concerned, I was invisible. He was more interested in speaking to my husband, and another customer who paid before (both , who, I might add, are white). He pours two shots, one for my husband and one for the other customer (because it makes complete and total sense that they would be together, duh) while all the while ignoring me and the constant pleas and clarification from the both of them that they were not together, and that my husband and I were a couple. It fell on deaf ears, I must say, to the point I was really confused and looked at my husband and asked him if I should wait outside. All in all, if you're ok for some slightly average food do give this place a try. I'll be giving it a miss from here on out.
