LE DJOON
Address in Paris offering a menu with flavors of the world, poultry and original tapas in the evening.
Looking like a New York loft with its large bay windows, Le Djoon is located in the heart of the 13th arrondissement, a fashionable district that changes every day. Le Djoon also plays host to Soul Music concerts, the main source of inspiration for chef Sophie Brissaud's Soul Food. Her menu plays with the flavors of the world. The cheesechèvre persillé is a cheesecake with goat's cheese and parsley au gratin, sucrine heart, candied pears with spices and roasted almonds. Filet de volaille au saté is a poultry fillet stuffed with saté, cooked at low temperature and mashed cauliflower with aniseed. For dessert, take a trip to Asia with the exotic verrine: mango custard, pan-fried pineapple with Sichuan pepper caramel, coconut chantilly and crispy tuile. In the evening, make way for equally original tapas: poultry empanadas and piperade, paella croquettes and lemon gel, duck confit samoussas with orange and sweet chili sauce, or vegetable grecque with côte de Gascogne and crispy ginger bread.
