Bistrot de la butte aux Cailles offering Italian specialties and wines.
Since its name does not suggest it, this Butte aux Cailles bistro invites you to cross the border separating France from Italy. With lacquered tables and rough floor around the edges, Les Cailloux has nothing in common with trattoria, but the cuisine is good. Sicilian red with panna cotta in vanille and red fruit coulis through the tagliata beef, rocket, Parmesan or linguines with octopus, tomato and pepper, every thing is available for your total satisfaction. Lets not talk about pan-fried cuttlefish and small fried artichokes. And between the two services, you can choose a bottle of wine or sit to nibble a tiramisu or drink a glass of Italian wine.

Un service au top, une salle pas trop grande, une nourriture 5 étoiles, et le tout dans un super quartier ! Nous nous sommes régalés hier soir et je me souviendrai longtemps de ce dessert à base de crème de citron et de fruits de la passion…
Nous n'avions pas réservé, il ne restait qu'une table de 2 à 21h.
Très bonne ambiance et le service est excellent.
Sans doute le meilleur Italie (hors pizza) du quartier.
