Basque hotel-restaurant with flowered balconies preparing home-made Béarn or Basque dishes
The pediment of this Auberge Etchegorry bears a curious inscription: Cabaret de madame Grégoire, and below it, Restaurant basque. Dominique Laborde, the owner of the premises, is inexhaustible about the history of her establishment, which has been run by her family for some sixty years. The address is typical, as is the cuisine. Here, dishes have a Béarn or Basque accent. Everything is homemade, even the black pudding. The restaurant is housed in the Hôtel du Vert Galant, with its flower-filled balconies. A beautiful setting where romantics and tourists alike enjoy staying.

Great find! The type of restaurant known to Parisians and not the tourists . Just behind the musee des Gobelins also worth a visit.
Idéal pour la pause déjeuner du midi et reprendre de l'énergie.
La cuisine est maitrisée sur les classiques de notre chère et tendre cuisine !
