ARCL (Archives, Recherches, Cultures Lesbiennes) is a documentation center for lesbian cultures located in Paris. It offers a wide selection of lesbian and feminist magazines from around the world, as well as a video collection, art books, press kits, theses and thematic files reflecting political movements and struggles. ARCL was founded in 1983, at a time when the lesbian movement was flourishing. The association collects documents of all kinds concerning lesbians, lesbianism and feminism, and aims to promote lesbian expression in all fields.
