A true, fine Parisian brasserie: this Café Populaire, which occupies a corner on the bustling Avenue Ledru-Rollin, is not lacking in assets. The menu is regularly renewed, and the list is well thought-out, with small dishes prepared with skill and bistronomy in mind. The spacious terrace is a must in summer. As for the bar, it's the ideal place to take a break, just a stone's throw from the Arsenal Basin, the Seine, and the Place de la Bastille. In short, a real favourite of the team.

Jeune serveur sympa (le patron nettement moins). Plat du jour sardines ratatouille absolument mauvais, friture froide et dure, ratatouille en boîte tiédasse. 16€. Nous sommes arrêtés là. Terrasses au soleil agréables, véranda aussi.

Fuimos 3 veces, las tres veces nos atendieron de forma excelente. El desayuno es muy bueno y a un precio razonable para París. En el almuerzo se aseguraron de darme una opción vegetariana, aunque no figuraba en la carta, la brioche perdue es muy buena. Muy amable todo el personal. Volvería sin dudarlo!
