This church dates back to the second half of the century, when the present-day Boulevard Voltaire was built in Paris.

Saint-Ambroise church dates back to the second half of the 19th century (1863-1869), when the present-day Boulevard Voltaire was built. These changes date back to Baron Haussmann's major works in Paris. Architect Théodore Ballu gave it a neo-Romanesque style, with Gothic details such as rosettes. Its two immense bell towers (each 68 meters high) are easily spotted from afar, topped by a cross and a weather vane in the shape of a rooster standing guard. If you're in the area, it's well worth a visit.

Great cathedral nestled in neighborhood. Church was quiet and they had just finished singing songs, so its very good to see these great halls being used. Beautiful architecture inside.

Une église parisienne que nous ne connaissions pas. Elle vaut le détour. De beaux vitraux.
