Hostel near the Place de la Bastille offering private double rooms for the same price to young travellers.
Located near the Place de la Bastille, a lively area in the day and night, the international youth hostel with a capacity of 160 beds welcomes young travellers. All private double rooms can accommodate up to 4 people for the same price. They are equipped with shower and toilet, with common sanitary facilities on each floor. Others are dormitories of 4 maximum, sometimes mixed. This accommodation centre has a common room with a vending machine and microwave, a luggage storage, a safe and an internet point. Age limit: 30 years (outside school group).

Angesichts der schlechten Rezensionen scheint mir, hier verwechseln viele eine Jugendherberge mit einem 5 Sterne-Hotel.
Es gibt hier keinen Luxus (keine Schränke im Zimmer, beengt...) aber für günstige 27€ für ein Privatzimmer erhält man:
- sehr einfaches Frühstück
- saubere und täglich geputzte Zimmer und Sanitärräume
- freundliches Personal und 24h Rezeption
- Unterkunft in sehr guter Lage mit direkter Nähe zur U-Bahn

No sé por dónde empezar ni con qué palabras describir este “hostal” si es que se le puede llamar así. En primer lugar, tienen un sistema rarísimo respecto a la llave de la habitación que hay que entregar cada vez que te vas del hostal y, además, de 11:00 a 15:00 no puedes acceder a tu habitación porque están “limpiando” (entre comillas porque sigue igual de sucia después). Las habitaciones son horribles parece un centro penitenciario, éramos 4 y solo había 1 enchufe en toda la habitación. Debajo de las camas está lleno de polvo y muy sucio, el baño deja mucho que desear, la cortina de la ducha tiene moho. En la web pone que hay una estantería, en nuestro caso ni un triste estante o percha, teníamos que dejar las cosas en el suelo, la ventana tenía el cristal roto, las literas son súper bajas y te vas dando golpes todo el rato. No hay ascensor, tuvimos que subir 4 pisos con las maletas. Para colmo, de los tres días que estuvimos sólo pudimos desayunar “decentemente” un día porque a los siguientes o no iba la máquina de café o no les quedaba pan, todo esto sin comentar lo ridículo que es el desayuno. Por último, la amabilidad del personal es inexistente. Entiendo que por el precio no puedan ofrecer servicios más lujosos, pero algunas cosas ya son cuestión de dignidad. Lo único bueno que tiene este lugar es su ubicación por decir algo.

Don't come here if you're sensitive to noise because it's a hotel for people 30 years old at most, filled with students, so everyone moves about until late and the walls aren't soundproof at all.
In short, you can come here for a cheap night in Paris, not to have a super good night of sleep. For the price, I am satisfied.
