L'hôtel est vraiment mal en point. Il donne une impression de vétusté et les meubles montrent des signes de détérioration. On peut voir des marques sur les murs... Les lits sont loin d'être bien faits. Les draps housse se détachent pendant la nuit... C'est vraiment désagréable. L'accueil est d'une banalité déprimante, sans aucune once d'enthousiasme. Pas de sourire et quand nous posons des questions... Les réponses sont très succinctes ! Et que dire du bruit ! Je pense qu'il n'est pas du tout insonorisé. Il n'est pas étonnant que vos clients se tournent vers Airbnb... Pour le même prix, ils bénéficieraient d'un service haut de gamme et d'un accueil bien plus plaisant.

At a relatively modest cost, Citadines Republique offers a more spacious layout than many comparable Parisian hotels. The tradeoff is that the room is only cleaned and refreshed once during a stay and, if you drop something, you might still notice a bit of dust under the bed. The lavatory is separate from the toilet and both have new fixtures. I was concerned, however, that the shower, which requires a high step in, was not equipped with a secure grab bar for safety. This is a potentially dangerous situation that should be remedied before someone is badly hurt. Situated a block from the Metro and around the corner from bakeries and markets, the location is convenient. The little kitchenette makes it possible to put together snacks or easy meals when you prefer not to go to a restaurant. This hotel is a good place to stay if your objective is to find a comfortable base from which to get out and enjoy Paris.

Stayed in a one bedroom appartment on the first floor. It was outdated, the sofa bed was heavily stained, floor dirty, bad smell. Fairly quiet though. The front desk staff is plainly rude, unsmiling, unwelcoming. Breakfast is a buffet of very low quality stuff. If you stay there in the summer be advised that there is no air conditioning. Overall it’s similar to an outdated 3 star hotel.
