Parisian address offering bistro-style cuisine, grilled meats and homemade desserts.

It was in another time what we called three. They sold lemonade and charcoal in a realistic song atmosphere and a very family spirit. The late 40 s, Mr. Paul and Mr. Paul resumed the case and retained some stigmates of the past, particularly the telephone booth. Daniel Karrenbauer, in turn, continues this tradition. The room is classic: in bottom tile and a large counter on which a telephone with an orange dial phone of the 70 s, in high floors on the ground, benches and chairs in moleskine, table nappées of white fabric. The walls of the old posters and photos. The kitchen is fine in decor, very bistrotière: hyacinth to bacon cubes, poached egg, Tiède black pudding, cresson grout, foie gras, St Antoine's temptation, foot, snout, ear and cutlettes pig queue (a marvel when you love everything in the pig!) and to finish the charlotte pink biscuits of Reims, the English cream. Everything is made home even the desserts.

Old traditional restaurant recommended in lonely planet and another book ???? about Paris. Deco is nice. The food is good but not wow good.

Mysigt restaurang men maten var hemsk. Pepparsteken smakade skosula. Bad om medium men det var supertorr. De stora pepparkornen var starka och det var överdrivet många. Kaninen luktade väldigt illa och var ganska torr och smaklös. Tyvärr besviken

Restaurant très convivial et lieu atypiques de Paris. Puisque le restaurant date de 1940.

Serveuse détestable au plus haut point, qui ne connaît pas sa carte.. burger trop cuit, sauce inexistante, tarte tatin trop cuite.. nous n’avons pas retourné les plats car nous avions déjà trop attendu. Bref, nous n’avons pas passé un bon moment.

Nice atmosphere but the food was hardly eatable. And we are not difficult people to serve.
The Pepper steak - Steak de poivre - was like a stone. Extremely difficult to chew (and also to cut although special knife!)
The first piece of meat was replaced - but no difference. I had to leave almost everything on the plate.
The burger was okey but not ????.

Big disappointment!! We had booked weeks in advance but will not return. Unfortunately actually. We had looked forward....
The atmosphere is however pleasant
