This design bookstore and its orange front are well known by all the strollers of the quays. We love to enter this wonderful shop during a walk along the Canal Saint-Martin. A true ambassador of Portuguese-speaking culture, Librairie Portugaise et Brésilienne, founded in 1986, is a benchmark in its field. It offers a careful selection of literature and history from Brazil, Cape Verde, Portugal, Mozambique and other regions, in their original language or in French. It is also home to Editions Chandeigne, founded in 1992 with Anne Lima, which promotes Portuguese-speaking countries and travel history through over 200 titles to date.
