Veja, founded in 2005, is a French-Brazilian brand strongly committed to sustainable development, organic farming, and fair trade, and is a specialist in ecological sneakers. Organic cotton from the Northeast of Brazil, Amazonian rubber, chrome-free tanned leather - Veja shoes are manufactured in a factory where workers' rights are respected. Logistics are handled by people suffering from exclusion, in collaboration with an association for worker's integration (Workshop without Borders). What else? Zero publicity and zero stock! Veja has just opened its Parisian concept store in the Saint-Martin canal neighbourhood. In the mall (a nod, because it is an anti-mall, nice loft-style), we find homemade sneakers as well as Veja bags and other creations from ethical designers, used bicycles, animations recycling or exchange... and great humanity.
