Charming hotel with a refined design where everything has been thought of for the well-being of the guests, including the air conditioning in the rooms.

This charming hotel whose rooms open onto Canal Saint-Martin with refined design and bright colours. Everything has been designed for the well-being and the satisfaction of guests: the materials where very light wood prevail, the king size bed, LCD flat screen TV with a wide choice of French and international channels, air conditioning, soundproofing, as well as the attentions paid in the bedrooms: Ipad, Wi-Fi, filtered water, unlimited smarty phone 4 G (a guide of the neighbourhood), breakfast and aperitifs offered. The Japanese restaurant Maru located on the ground floor is continuously open from noon to 10 pm.

A small gem in front of the canal. It's an excellent hotel, very modern and clean!!! The room was great with an amazing view of the canal. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. I recommend it!

Super petit hôtel sur les bords du canal St Martin ! Accueil au top et très jolie chambre. À quelques pas de la Gare de l’Est, très pratique. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Nous avons découvert cet hôtel étant de passage à Paris. Le lieu est juste unique avec le canal Saint Martin à la porte de l’hôtel.
L accueil est vraiment top, la literie au top,… merci à toute l équipe de l hôtel !!

This is hands down the WORST HOTEL EVER!!! I booked a reservation for my Mom's surprise birthday trip. We traveled from the U.S. The rooms were nothing like the online portrayal. We were then 'upgraded' to a room on the top floor, supposedly, one of their best. The outside sound was so loud, it became completely unbearable, not to mention, the room was cold. There were (2) space heaters in the room. They weren't adequate enough to properly heat the room. After a couple of hours of these HORRIBLE conditions, we decided to check out. As I was assisting the Uber driver placing the luggage in the trunk, my Mom fell, while existing the establishment. The owner, Sophie refused to give us any refunds! I would STEER CLEAR of this 'FARCE' of a hotel, if you want to enjoy your stay here in Paris! I would give this place a ZERO star rating, if it was an option. I would best describe this establishment as a 'tiny hotel,' yet they want to charge a premium rate. Lastly, it appears that 'they' are trying to manipulate their Google rating by not showing the lowest reviews. I feel an obligation to share our terrible experience at this hotel!!!

We stayed at Le Citizen hotel for our last night on our European holiday. Staff were really friendly and provided some great food and sightseeing recommendations for us. It’s a small boutique hotel which we loved, modern and contemporary space. The location is beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting in their small cafe space, drinking nice rosè and watching the world go by. Travelling with small backpacks meant we could easily walk to Gare du Nord to catch the train to the airport. Big thanks to the team at Le Citizen.
