Le Chansonnier is a safe value, we love this corner bistro located just a few steps from the Canal Saint-Martin. A bistro that one day will be registered in the Parisian gastronomic heritage. I cannot read the menu and well.....
So not to embarrass myself I asked for the chefs recommendation. "It's all good" he says ???? shoot that didn't work. I asked if they had any fish ????????♀️.
He said a few of something. I replied "sure I will try that"
Wait and see what he brings me ????

Ten minutes later.....
What he brought was so juicy and delicious. I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is like an old man's pub and the people are lovely and friendly.
The chef is fabulous. Best meal on have here.
