Restaurant offering great local dishes with fresh products.
A real bistro institution from 1908, La Maison Péret has been at the service of good liquid and solid taste for four generations. The love of good wine not too much filtered and sulphur free is not an empty word, whether it is from Loire, Burgundy, Beaujolais and the Côtes-du-Rhône. We are in a real brasserie where the dishes are simple but efficient. You can be satisfied with the gourmet salad made on order and only with fresh ingredients with a homemade vinaigrette: old-fashioned mustard, wine vinegar and rape oil. The great local dishes served with farmhouse bread with Poilâne leaven and Parisian baguette Tradition, butter dish (butter from Antoine Garmy in Puy-de-Dôme) and pickles are perfect for a good sharing moment. Those who are in hurry can go to the bar to enjoy a big hot bread. But La Maison has some specialties that you'll never get tired of. Pistachio Lyon hot sausage, warm Charlotte potatoes sprinkled with fresh chive with homemade old-fashioned vinaigrette or the farm ham shank (from France) and the AOC Puy lentils cooked with bacon of Auvergne ham and onions, immerse us in this bourgeois cuisine of our grandmothers. Keep a room for small jar of artisanal pure goat dung farmer homemade marinated with fruité vert olive oil, fresh thyme, fresh rosemary, fresh laurel, five bays, fresh garlic... And if you are rather on sweet, try the Périgord Flaugnarde with sugar, a cake that is very close to the clafoutis. Delicious. Here, the freshness of the products is exceptional and the address favours the use of freezer and microwave.
Très bon accueil et bon rapport qualité prix
