Address in Paris serving tasty nibbles, a varied menu and tapas in the evening.
The old-fashioned decor, with red-checked tablecloths and hunting trophies, certainly contributes to the conviviality of this Italian-Parigot table. At the helm of this "wine bar-osteria", Dimitri Gris offers an evening slate of sunny combinations in small-course mode: homemade gnocchi with Breton blue lobster, squid a la plancha with Brussels sprouts and capuliato (a Sicilian preparation made from sun-dried tomatoes), veal brain with ponzu sauce and lemon zest... On the liquid side, an eclectic list of fine references.

La casa dell’oste! Ambiente caldo familiare e pronto ad aprire bottiglie (e a finirle) a tutta forza anche verso orario di chiusura. Si parla di vini, ma non ci si intorta con la pedagogia quando, come dice Marius, “voglio solo farmi un’ombra senza rotture di coglioni”. Vini ottimi, ma berli in compagnia ancor di più! Ambiente italiano in perfetta armonia parigina, consigliatissimo! Ti aspetto a Vv Lisbona per ricambiare il calice pieno!

The Marrow was lovely. The Oysters were very good. The Brioche French Toast was lovely.The Boar Ribs were a bit chewy. Otherwise decent food - some of the softer dishes could do with a bit of textural contrast - crunch etc.
The front of house staff were lovely and we had an excellent english server that took care of us and was really accomodating.
The only reason I have given 3 stars is the owner/manager/chef came into the restaurant at the end of the meal, denied us a night cap and rushed us out the door.
He was evidently wanted to go home, It seemed to be one of those situations where we had received our meal and now it was time to pay up and leave. This put a dampener on the evening to say the least.
