This is the largest exhibition devoted to the Brazilian photographer, who for almost 50 years has dedicated herself to photography and to the defence of one of the most important Amerindian peoples of the Amazon: the Yanomami. The event presents his work through an exhibition of more than 300 black and white and colour photos, some of which are unpublished. The public also discovers an audiovisual installation, as well as historical documents and drawings by Yanomami artists. The exhibition Claudia Andujar, the Yanomami Struggle, shows different facets of the artist, on the one hand her important contribution to photographic art and on the other her political commitment through the defence of a people whose rights it is essential to defend.
