A huge restored stone and glass vessel, today one of the cultural powerhouses of the immediate southwest of Paris
After decades of neglect, this immense stone and glass vessel reopened its doors in 2023. An architectural vestige of the industrial epic, originally designed to house flying objects, Hangar Y is located on the edge of the Meudon forest: fully restored, it is now one of the cultural locomotives of the immediate south-west of Paris. In addition to numerous exhibitions and performances, the magnificent outdoor park offers an artistic itinerary, as well as activities for young people and adults.

Parking hors de prix (3 euros l'heure)
Une exposition sur le soleil difficilement compréhensible sans une visite guidée...dont il a été impossible de connaitre les horaires malgré un panneau l'annonçant toutes mes 30 minutes..
Un bar inaccessible à 17h30.. pour une fermeture annoncée à 18H,
Un circuit audio des œuvres d'art moderne très compliqué à installé sur son portable, avec des bugs récurrents,
Dommage!!
On a fait une visite sur les sculptures pour les enfants : sympa mais pas tout a fait adapté pour enfants assez jeunes. Peut-être dès 8-10 ans.
Par contre problème d'organisation : la visite était prévue a 15h mais personne. Après avoir demandé a des personnes dans le hangar, on nous a envoyé quelqu'un vers 15h20. Qui n'était pas prévue pourtant sur cette visite. Au final tant mieux car Delphine est très bien, en particulier avec les enfants. Et en plus on était seuls. Mais que s'est il passé sur l'organisation ??
