Honey, cinnamon, cloves: at the Palais du Pain d'épices, all 5 senses are stimulated on an interactive tour for young and old. You'll also discover the history of gingerbread, how it's made and the imaginary world surrounding this delicacy. And since Christmas in Alsace is no laughing matter, the palace is decked out with garlands of lights, colorful baubles and even Santa Claus and his sleigh. The adjoining store is full of cookies and other Alsatian specialities.

La boutique du palais est magnifique, on ne sait plus où poser les yeux tant il y a de produits. L'eau nous vient à la bouche dès l'entrée de la boutique, les dégustations sur place permettent de faire les meilleurs choix. A la période de Noël, il y a évidemment beaucoup de monde mais ça fait aussi partie de l'ambiance des fêtes!

Charlie & la chocolaterie à la sauce alsacienne, le palais du pain d'épices est un endroit magique comme Disneyland, on y apprend la fabrication du pain d'épices en passant de pièces en pièces, toutes colorées, décorées et sucrées jusqu'à l'atelier de fabrication puis la boutique. C'est un incontournable du folklore alsacien, allez y faire un tour si vous passez dans la région!
