A trail with a magnificent view of the Gulf of Porto and the calanches at Piana.

On the D81, to the right of the "tête du chien" (dog's head), a path traces its way along the ridge, offering a magnificent gallery of rocks. It leads to a lookout leading to a vast stone promontory, dubbed the "château fort", perched high above the sea. From here, you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Gulf of Porto and the calanques. Be careful with children, however, as there is a large precipice at the end of the course.

The head of Dog.
It is at the bend of a turn that we see this enormous rock in the shape of a dog's head. Leave the car parking (delicate as many people) and take the marked trail. It is the beginning of the ballade called “castle” because all the rocks resemble towers colossal. It is very pleasant through this forest species diversity and with wonderful sea views. Don't forget your camera…
