Founded in 1879, the company initially supplied its grapes to leading champagne brands, before starting to produce its own wines in 1979. Each year, 100 tons of grapes are crushed in the traditional press, which can be admired on a tour, before moving on to the cuverie and the cellars. You can even take a tour of the vineyards planted around the Maison. The wines of the Maison are festive, joyful and convivial. Enjoy them in summer with your feet in the water, or on a cold winter's night to warm your heart.

La Maison is located in Montbayen, just outside the village of Saint-Martin-d'Ablois in the direction of Vauciennes. Here, Christian Dambron offers you a warm welcome. He shows you around his estate and tells you all about his life as a passionate winegrower. You'll have a wonderful time, and even more so when you discover the House's Signature cuvée. The variety of plots on this 7-hectare estate lends the House's wines the complexity we love so much about Champagne. The family has lived here, between the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne, for four generations, and the know-how accumulated over almost a century is expressed in the most beautiful way through this very well-crafted range. The Cuvée Carte Noire, predominantly made from meunier grapes, is an expressively fruity, flavorful wine, revealing lovely notes of fresh fruit. Sublime with a gourmet dessert!

The history of this renowned house began in 1930 with Émilien Jamart, a baker by trade and mayor of his village, who started selling his wines in 1936. Since 2009, Maxime has been at the helm of this fine domaine, crafting champagnes that are timeless in their appeal. From Extra-Brut to Demi-Sec, you're bound to find a wine to suit your taste. Our favorites are Prestige Tentation Extra-Brut 2012 and Blanc de Blancs Brut 2014. Two great wines that offer an explosion of aromas on the palate. Don't miss their white coteaux-champenois.
