Winery
5/5
1 review

Champagne Vincent d'Astrée is easily found with an entrance framed by two colossal statues: they represent the famous Dom Pérignon and the monk Jean Oudart (his oenologist). The house was created in 1956 and now has more than 240 families on 85 hectares of classified1er Cru vineyards. In the great Champagne tradition, it produces a fruity champagne composed of 50% pinot meunier, 25% pinot noir and 25% chardonnay in a range of 8 cuvées.

CHAMPAGNE BONVALET

Sale of wines and spirits
5/5
1 review

A rarity in Champagne, this beautiful House was founded ex nihilo by a young entrepreneurial couple with a passion for the world of wine. Through the names of their cuvées, Pauline and Guillaume revisit major themes (man, action, time and mutual aid) and invite you to set out to conquer your destiny. Our favorite is Kosmos, a delicate, floral 100% Chardonnay. The duo also founded the Bonvalet distillery, based on the principle of a circular economy. You can also spend the night in their home! A must-see!

CHAMPAGNE MANDOIS

Winery

Since 1735, the Mandois family has owned a 40-hectare vineyard, straddling twelve crus, including Pierry, Vertus and Chouilly. At harvest time, the grapes are pressed in the Pierry cellars under the supervision of Claude Mandois. In this domain, the wine from each parcel is separated and then blended. Very good cuvées to discover, divided into Collection Classique (Brut Origine, Rosé Grande Réserve and the remarkable Brut Zéro), Collection 1735 (Blanc de Blancs 2016, Blanc de Noirs 2015), Collection unique (Cuvée Victor 2008 and 2012).

Alexandre Lenique founded Champagne Lenique in 1768. The company's vineyards are spread over various terroirs, mainly in the Vincelles, Vauciennes, Mesnil-sur-Oger and Épernay areas... planted with three Champagne grape varieties. To visit the winery, it's best to make an appointment; the tour of the estate and its facilities will then take about an hour. Cuvée Excellence is aged for three years. Other champagnes include Brut Millésimés and Blanc de Noirs.

DOMAINE J-M SÉLÈQUE

Winery

Established south of Épernay for 3 generations, this estate cultivates 9 ha of vines spread over 7 different villages. Jean-Marc Sélèque's aim is to reveal the identity of his terroir through sustainable viticulture and parcel-based vinification, with long ageing on lees. All his cuvées are the fruit of a score which, in its notes, tells the story of the climate, the soil, the work, the patience, the know-how, the origin and the history of his terroir. The 10 cuvées are chiselled and of excellent quality. A particular favorite is Solessence Extra Brut.
