Hotel is more of a mountain lodge. Driving from Aye Champagne was not hard, but definitely took longer than what we were told. it is easy to miss a turn or take a less efficient route. A lot of winding turns, and asphalt a bit rough at times. Driving into the hotel's parking lot, we saw a couple who went for a walk, and as it was a rainy day, they were all muddy.
If you want a quiet retreat in the mountains, this is definitely the hotel.
The service is great. A little more English may help some international guests.
The check in at 4pm is latter than any other hotel we have stayed at. With the pool/gym closing at 7.30pm. Be careful booking tours so that you can make the best of the accommodation.
As a horticulturalist, they need some professional advice on the gardens. Lots of weeds. I hope they save the declining oak trees that look to have been damaged during the building process.
Recommended. Some polishing to make perfect.
