In the past, small independent producers from 3 neighboring communes cultivated vines and sold their grapes to the wine trade. In 1961, three of them decided to acquire a common wine press. Little by little, others followed in their footsteps to form the Janvry Producers' Group. Driven by the same philosophy of quality, in 1975 these winegrowers created the Ch. de l'Auche brand, revealing to wine lovers all the beauty of wines from the Montagne de Reims. We've fallen in love with their Cuvée Chapitre I, a sublime 100% meunier!
