Things to see and do Esternay

A small rural line passes through the forest of La and under the tunnel of Vindey to arrive in the Champagne plain lined with slopes planted with vines. The train runs every Sunday afternoon from mid-June to mid-October. Every Sunday in July, August and September, rides take place from Sézanne station, departure at 14 p. m. and then continue by coach to a theme tourism circuit, and from 17 p. m. to 18 p. m. To change a bit, you can also take a round-rail tour on the Esternay-Neuvy line on a draisine shift.

This is an original activity in nature: Cyclo-draisine, a revolutionary device destined for the miles of today's abandoned tracks! What a good idea to discover the rich heritage of our sweet France! Tariff: 15 € La Cyclo-draisine 4 people for a course, € 22 for two courses (same day).

Distance: from 8,5 to 18 km return depending on the route chosen.

Opening: April to June and September to October, only Sundays and public holidays; in July and August, from Tuesday to Sunday from 14 am to 18 pm (without reservation).

Place of departure: Esternay or Joiselle (old railway station).
