Épernay city hall built by Victor Lenoir in 1958 at the bottom of the avenue de Champagne and in a park classified as a remarkable garden

Built by the architect of the Montparnasse train station, Victor Lenoir, in 1858, this former private mansion was given to the city in 1919. It originally belonged to the Auban-Moët couple, champagne wine merchants. The building is located at the bottom of the famous Avenue de Champagne, in a magnificent park designed in the last century by the Bühler brothers, creators of the Parc de la Tête d'Or in Lyon. Classified as a remarkable garden, it was inspired by prestigious creations such as the gardens of the Château de Versailles. To visit the city hall, contact the tourist office.
