In this family, winegrowing has been handed down from father to son for 4 generations. The fourteen-hectare vineyard is cultivated with thought and common sense (VDC and HVE level 3). The company ships almost 40% of its production around the world, which goes to show its growing success. A warm welcome awaits you at the Maison, where you can discover century-old cellars, dug beneath 25 m of chalk, with a capacity of 3 million bottles that age for a minimum of 48 months. The House also boasts a beautiful 5-bedroom residence.

Four years ago, we stayed at Guy Charbaut's for one night. We enjoyed a glass of champagne in the idyllic garden in the evening, after a walk along the water. Breakfast in the morning was copious and the visit of the cellars was extensive and vastly interesting. After the tasting four years ago, we went home with a car filled with delicious champagne. Four years later, we visited the champagne region again and Guy Charbaut was on our ‘must visit’ list. We did not make an appointment, although you can do so via the website, but we were welcomed with open arms anyway. Since we were already customers, we were allowed to taste for free and we once again went home with several boxes of their product. This is an address to make the most of: pair an overnight stay with a blissful evening in the garden with a bottle of champagne, and follow up on your breakfast with a visit and tasting. You won't regret it!

We had a fantastic tour and tasting with Ana. Very knowledgeable and we learnt so much. She answered all our questions and was very welcoming. The tour was so interesting and the wines were delicious. We bought a case of our favourites which were the blanc de blanc, the brut nature and the special selection. Exceptional champagnes. Had a lovely visit here, bit smaller producer with a good price range starting from approx 23 euro up to 70-80 per bottle.

Very acommodating for a spontaneous visit.

Enjoyed our tour and tasting a lot! The content was interesting and easy to understand. The whole thing lasted about 1.5hrs and was delivered in English. During the tasting you can choose 3 wines (2 non vintage, 1 vintage) to taste. May 2024 tour price was €10 and tasting was €12 per person. You can book online. I highly recommend!
