Charming bistro specializing in grilled meats offering chicken and beef in all their forms

Wing or thigh? In this charming bistro in the small village of Aÿ, there is a sweet smell of grilled meats that immediately makes your mouth water. Here, meat in all its forms is praised, from the hock to the rib steak and the veal head. But the house speciality is still chicken, with its juicy flesh and crispy skin, slowly roasted on a spit, served at the right time with good homemade fries, we ask for more! And not only the chicken is worth a visit, in this bistro, the atmosphere is also deliciously retro, with pieces chinées in a flea market spirit, you feel like at home. And you can even order takeaway meals there!

Firstly for us the address was wrong we were directed to the old premises just down the road from the actual premises at Number 46. Great looking modern restaurant with, as you would expect a great selection of bubbles ???? the menu is not extensive but very good. Despite the freshly roasted meat three out of four had Rognons (kidneys) which were delicious. Four different starters which were all good. Lovely waitress who looked after us really well. You need to book but that’s what you must do at all restaurants in this area. Very good meal, good Champers and wine list making it all a very pleasant experience. Not top notch but for the price very very good. Would I go again yes I would ????????????????

Restaurant très cosy, avec des places assises dans le jardin quand il fait beau. Bonne nourriture et vins à des prix raisonnables. Je ne peux que recommander, j'y retournerais n'importe quand.

Charmant restaurant situé dans un magnifique jardin. Pas beaucoup d'autres options à Ay. La qualité de la nourriture était élevée (tout comme les prix), le service attentionné et sympathique même si le restaurant était occupé (nous avons visité le vendredi midi). Grande liste de champagne mais seulement 2 au verre, ce qui était un peu décevant - mais pas rare que nous ayons découvert.
