VOYOTTES

Narrow streets called «voyottes» begin on the Avenue de la République. They used to serve the vineyards and gardens behind the houses (hence their name "hotte"). They have left room for constructions, but the voyottes have lost neither their charm nor their authenticity, with old wooden and mud houses.
