The entrance of the castle is free but the visit will allow you to immerse yourself in the medieval universe. Seventeenth century building, with the first Lord Hugues de Lafauche, the castle is a huge structure built on a rocky spur. A wall wall of more than 1 m thick, 18 laps originally. An ideal fortress, chosen by many princes to stay or hold a seat there. Thus, Lafauche was of strategic importance: through its construction and its position which placed it at the Lorraine marches. The castle is at two levels: the platform - or dungeon - (defensive aspect) equipped with its own enclosure and the "lower courtyard", a vast enclosure established on slope softening.
