A park with a forest worthy of national heritage and remarkable ponds, a flora and fauna reserve to discover in Troyes.

The Oriental Forest, a land of history... From the 9th century onwards, great religious orders cleared the forest and created the first ponds. The names "Forêt du Temple" or "Forêt d'Orient" evoke the Templar Order, founded in 1118 by Hugues de Payns. In the second half of the 20th century, large reservoirs were built. Today, it's a bit like Troyes-Plage, with its wide shores and a forest worthy of national heritage, just as much as this wildlife reserve.

Très beau et vaste parc, magnifique forêt, où l'on peut observer la flore et la faune,, en particulier les oiseaux, profiter des plages aménagées au bord du lac. Ne pas hésiter à s'informer à la Maison du Parc, lieu agréable présentant différentes expositions, permanentes et temporaires.

Un site remarquable!!! A faire sans aucune hésitation avec les enfants.
Les animaux sont en liberté, on a eu la chance d’apercevoir, des sangliers, élan d’Europe, biches et cerfs, bisons, les chevaux sauvages....
Même les libellules sont de la partie.
Une belle promenade au cœur de cette forêt majestueuse.
