The Saint-Loup Museum, named after the former abbey that houses it, is a gem at the foot of the cathedral. In this 17th and 18th century building, a magnificent edifice itself in the center of a restful, shady garden, the museum celebrates culture. After the animals and a proximity access for the youngest, the Fine Arts with a beautiful concentration of paintings and sculptures, perfectly adapted to this historical site, and well highlighted, you will get acquainted with Boucher or Fragonard, while admiring Watteau and Philippe de Champaigne.

Le parquet ancien est joli et le craquement en marchant est appréciable
L'histoire y est bien expliquée
Dommage qu'il ferme aussi tôt mais cela reste convenable
Prévoir d'y aller pour 14h/15h histoire d'avoir le temps de tout faire
La partie histoire naturelle expose des animaux et est très bien présentée.
Au sous sol la partie archéologique propose différents objets et bijoux trouvés dans le département tout au long de son histoire .
Vous y trouverez également des salles dédiées a la sculpture et a la peinture.

Sans être un classique et un incontournable comme le Louvre, ce musée est un très honnête établissement qui vous permettra de découvrir l’art en général et l’histoire locale quelque soit votre génération.

The natural history section exhibits animals and is very well presented.
In the basement, the archaeological part offers various objects and jewelry found in the department throughout its history.
You will also find rooms dedicated to sculpture and painting.
