THE TERMINAL CHAPEL

High in 1756, it is located between Traînel and Sognes, on the threshold of Dawn and Yonne. If the church of Traînel is fortified and worth the detour, the more humble chapel is typical of the chapels of the Nogentais, dedicated to the Virgin who would have imposed its construction to the Lords in dispute over the limits, the bounds of their domains. An annual mass is celebrated on the ^first Sunday of September.
