The lakes and forest environments allow many species of migratory birds to stop over. The mudflats form a unique ecosystem in Europe. The ponds are appreciated by amphibians, also favouring the presence of several reptiles linked to wetlands. 800 species of beetles have been counted as well as numerous species of butterflies, crickets and dragonflies, most of which are threatened. 24 species of mammals and 16 species of bats.

Sehr schöner Wildpark. An der Kasse können Ferngläser ausgeliehen werden. Für Fotos sollte eine gute Zoomkamera mitgenommen werden, die Tiere sind meist zu weit weg für Smartphones. Der Park ist schön angelegt und die Wege sind ordentlich und sauber. Schön für einen entspannten Spaziergang.
