3-star hotel-restaurant with swimming pool in Maisons-lès-Chaource offering air-conditioned rooms
In the countryside, about thirty kilometers from Troyes, but with an undeniable reputation, this quiet hotel invites for rest and tranquility. On the edge of the Chaource forest, it offers 23 air-conditioned rooms and is the starting point for many walks. We appreciate the balneo facilities in the rooms as well as the hotel's indoor swimming pool. Of course you have wifi. In the restaurant, you will be served the fine gastronomic cuisine of Cédric, the owner's son, who is savored without moderation. The menu of the Terroir already gives a beautiful overview: Foie Gras, Girolles, Onjon pigeon, Chaource crouch… Dishes are prepared from fresh products, but the card quickly flashes the bill. A place that deserves its 3 stars but prices are rising, so it must be kept up.

La gentillesse et le professionnalisme de l'équipe tout d'abord. On a été chaleureusement accueillis comme à chaque fois et toute l'équipe a été aux petits soins.
La chambre est confortable.
Le spa et les soins ont été pleinement appréciés. Parfait moment de détente.
Quant au repas, ça a été une explosion de saveurs du début à la fin. On n'a pas su se décider pour une bouteille de vin alors on a pris l'accord mets-vins. Les vins servis étaient parfaits. Et les plats servis étaient délicieux. Émincé de St Jacques et foie gras avec gelée de mangue en entrée, ris de veau et strates de bœuf en plat, plateau de fromages et poire pochée avec une crème au sarrasin en dessert.
On reviendra sans aucun doute
In bedroom’s terms, I understand it is not a pretty luxury place and not so modern neither, quality of furniture is old and bathrooms could be make over for sure… they could look cleaner.
With the food I honestly felt that it was not fresh most of the time and it’s a shame.
