CHURCHES AND CHAPELS
On the architecture side, each commune has its classified church and that of Saint-Pierre-ès-Links in Ricey Bas, a monument of xiiith, xive and sixteenth centuries, has a vast nef of two towers. In a 14-chapel ogival style, you can admire carved wooden reables. At Ricey-Haute-Rive, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church dates from the sixteenth century and it can be seen a rich chair of sculptures dating back to 1765. The Saint Vincent Church of Ricey-Haut is in fact the union of two churches cutting at right angles. It was built at the end of the fifteenth century. At Riceys there are also six chapels: Saint-Jacques, Saint Clair… and Saint-Roch who is the boss of the Riceys. Despite three churches, which depended on three different bishops, only one opened its doors, the church Saint-Pierre-ès-Ties in Ricey Bas. And it's worth more than a rush. Among other things, there are two stained glass windows in the sixteenth century, one named Creation, the other legend of the miraculous hostageous, as well as a Flemish wooden retable of 1520.
