ARTITUDE 10

In order to help invigorate its territory, this association has decided to offer an innovative cultural offer. Artitude 10 organizes animations today on a th-century potter site, including the Fire hall. To raise awareness of ceramics and the arts of fire, initiate different artistic practices, a reception space is open to the public and groups, with different structures to discover: a park of ten wood kilns allows to revisit part of the history of cooking ceramics since the man cooked the earth, a quarry of clay, shelters built with local raw materials (wood, clay…), an exhibition room and also La Ronde des Feux, festival of ceramics and the arts of fire, on musical background with more than 65 activities. Multiple forms of visits (by appointment) are proposed: discovery formula without modelling, extraction of clay, preparation of "dough" and demonstrations of modelling techniques, eco-construction (discovery of mud and plants used in the construction, drying of pieces), cooking demonstrations in wood kilns built on the site, visit of an exhibition, demonstration of "raku" (spectacular technique of enamelling), initiation workshop The main motto is to perpetuate this precious heritage.
