In the heart of the legendary Ardennes forest, Philippe Boudard welcomes you to his tavern with an unusual concept, the Tchar Scaille, which means shale cart in Ardennes Walloon. As you pass through the door, the dance of the skeletons on the walls sets the tone and the poetic journey to the in-between world begins. At the table, the menu is unique and we have a feast in the conviviality. With the grilled pig accompanied by organic vegetables cultivated by a market gardener of Chooz, without forgetting the Trappist beer and the hypocras, there is plenty to eat! A unique experience.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés après une rando pour boire une bière ???????????? mais nous avons goûté un cidre Irlandais (c'était bien bon) et petit à petit des musiciens sont arrivés mettre une ambiance du tonnerre sur des airs Breton et Irlandais super entreinant, malheureusement nous avons du quitter pas trop tard vu le nombre de kilomètres, sinon nous serions rester plus longtemps. A refaire.

Très bonne table avec un Concept original tout autant que les plats proposés.
Végétariens et carnivores y trouvent leur compte dans une ambiance très sympa dans un lieu paradisiaque.

Que dire le lieux déjà en plein milieu de la forêt des Ardennes vous attend cette auberge atypique au goût du patron qui lui même est très sympa. Menu unique qui nous a étonné vraiment que du bonheur. Si vous passer devant foncer.
