Peggy and Philippe Maurer are in charge of this 16-hectare (Ecocert-certified) family estate, spread over some forty plots of land offering a very interesting variety of terroirs, including the Lerchenberg, Kritt and Grand Cru Moenchberg appellations. The vines are cultivated without weedkillers, and chemical fertilizers are replaced by manure-based compost. The Maurers vinify the 7 Alsace grape varieties, available in the Tradition, Lieux-dits, Grands Crus, Vendanges Tardives and Sélection de Grains nobles ranges, not forgetting Crémants d'Alsace.
