THE OLD TOWN

The old town of Monthermé was built in amphitheatre in the loop of the Meuse. Its town hall is located in a former school, close to the washing machine, and its little campanile escarpant the horizon. Take old and grimpettes lanes, starting with the old street where the boatmen, rue Paul-Doumer and his lanterns at the old, join the dam and walk along the canal by taking a look at the church of St. Léger and its frescoes, not forgetting the girls'school.
