The Grand Marionnettiste is a monumental clock located in front of the building adjacent to the International Institute of Marionnette. This facade is actually the rear part of the Ardenne Museum whose main access is Ducale Square. Created in 1991, Jacques Monestier's work includes not only the clock but also a brass character of 10 m high which marks the hours from 10 a. m. to 9 p. m. daily. He then presents one of the 12 sayers of the legend of the four Aymon sons (a song of gesture of Merovingian origin). On Saturday, at 9:15 p. m., for 40 min, the 12 tables can be seen. You can admire the mechanism of the interior of the Ardenne Museum.

Très beau spectacle pour enfants et adultes, gratuit mais assez court. A lieu toutes les heures. Nous rappelle notre enfance et le monde des marionnettes.

despite some intermittent breakdowns, there is always world that await the stories of the puppeteer forward.
it is impressive and very short.
If you are able to visit the museum of the ardennes at the moment you can see the live machinery with the change of scenery.
