Renaissance castle with a chapel, a dovecote and a museum on marriage with a collection of objects and costumes.

When François I undertook the construction of Chambord, his financial secretary, sent to oversee the colossal project, took advantage of the talented craftsmen and artists' free time to build Villesavin, a Renaissance gem. Don't miss the chapel and the dovecote with its revolving ladder. The first museum takes you back in time to weddings since 1840, with its collection of objects and costumes. The second features a fine selection of horse-drawn carriages and children's vehicles. A lovely château for the whole family.

Franchement le prix est excessif pour se balader en extérieur
Il faut payer un supplément pour avoir une visite guidée obligatoire

Schloss von außen sehr schön, allerdings muss man schon bei der Einfahrt an der Schranke 9€ pro Person bezahlen. Einfach nur mal von außen anschauen geht nicht. Vorsicht also, wenn Sie durch das erste Tor fahren, umdrehen wird dann unmöglich. Die sehr freundliche Dame an der Schranke ließ uns drinnen wenden. Merci dafür.

Château surprenant. Trop d'informations, je reste sur ma faim de découverte. Entre buste de Molière, statue de Déméter, décoration gréco-romaine.... Et autres surprises la collection est variée et étonnante.
Très belle collection sur le mariage et les hippomobiles. Parc très bien entretenu, personnel très agréable.
