In Saint-Aignan, in the heart of the Centre region, a place not to be missed with some 6,000 animals and species unique in France.

Forty years ago, the small Beauval ornithological park was born in the heart of the Loir-et-Cher region. Over the years, it has grown with the green plains, including the one dedicated to elephants, the Asian plain dedicated to rhinoceroses, antelopes and tapirs, then the vivarium in the tropical greenhouse of the great apes, to which have been added the gorilla and manatee greenhouse with the piranha pond, the koala and kangaroo pond and an aquarium. With the panoramic basins for sea lions and penguins, the islands for lemurs, and the space dedicated to those coming from China, the South American pampas, and the African savannah, the area has reached 40 hectares. By following her dream, the founder built one of the most beautiful zoological parks in the world, housing nearly 35,000 animals and 800 species in remarkable facilities. Thus was created a ZooPark where the animals are above all at home, and where one species in particular has left its mark on Beauval: the giant panda.
Come around the world in twenty territories for an unparalleled experience, discovering biodiversity and its wonders. Near the entrance, discover the passion that gave birth to the park: birds. Macaws, microglosses, cockatoos... A wide variety of birds with colorful plumage and harmonious songs are offered to you.
Pass under the red and gold gate to enter the territory of the giant pandas. Symbols of the friendship between France and China, they are also ambassadors of species conservation. By drawing attention to the critical state of the world's biodiversity, the giant pandas, unique in France, raise awareness about the protection of animal species. A journey to the borders of China, surrounded by gigantic green spaces and impressive Chinese constructions. Meet the giant pandas, red pandas, snow leopards and takins.
Enter the fantastic dome, an extraordinary paradise for species conservation. The temperature is maintained at 26°C all year round thanks to automated systems that guarantee ventilation and humidification according to the weather conditions outside. The dome breathes, sweats and provides the animals that live there with an ideal tropical climate for their well-being. Anacondas, red ibises, giant otters, manatees, golden lion tamarins, Komodo dragons... Meet small monkeys, probably one of the cutest species of the equatorial dome: the saimiri. Through a camera, be the spectators of their arrival to the dome, of their acclimatization to their new environment, and to their new companions. Then dive into the discovery of an extraordinary aquatic fauna. The 19 pools and aquariums allow you to observe, like nowhere else, many aquatic animals: manatees, giant otters, pygmy hippos, turtles, piranhas, alligators..., as well as a multitude of tropical fish. Discover these species in spaces that are as close as possible to their natural environments, adapted to each of their needs.
Beauval has a veterinary clinic that is unique in Europe, a real driving force in research and conservation of animal species. The ZooParc is thinking about the solutions to be implemented for a sustainable development and an eco-responsible management of its activity.
Beauval Nature supports the NGO Komodo Survivial Program (KSP) which has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indonesian Central Office for the Conservation of Natural Resources allowing it to supervise and act for the protection of the natural habitat of the Komodo dragon, threatened by the expansion of human activities. Beauval is committed to working with them to protect this terrifying and captivating giant.
Live an unforgettable experience by participating in the park's activities, to discover it in a unique way. Accompanied by teams of scientific mediators, participate in the care of animals (feeding, cleaning spaces, creating enrichments ...). Games and exploration books and educational workshops complete the visit.
In the fabulous setting of the aquatic amphitheater, come admire and applaud the agile sea lions. These fantastic acrobats compete in skill and balance during the Sea Lions Odyssey show! A magical moment to learn, as a family, to protect the environment. To discover the show Les Maîtres des Airs, take a seat for a moment in the heart of the bird amphitheater for a fabulous show, where more than 500 birds evolve with grace above your heads, in a hemicycle of 3,000 seats. Owls, cranes, pelicans, storks and many others join the aerial ballet of birds of prey for an unforgettable bird show.
Fifteen dining areas await you, from self-service to creperie to fast food, there is something for everyone. And thanks to the Beauval app with its additional features, organize your visit to find the food and beverage outlets and have fun with the games section. Beauval has also surrounded itself with hotels, to enjoy this wonderful world even longer.

The new large South American aviary, the largest in Europe, will further enrich your stay by immersing you between heaven and earth amidst the colorful birds and overlooking the mammals from the top of the walkways.

Parking gratuit. Bref je recommande à 200%
