Lodges that have served as refuges for vagabonds, lovers, to hide weapons or prisoners, a place not to be missed
In Maslives, several vineyard houses still stand along the roads leading to l'Écuelle and Montlivault. Long used to store equipment and provide shelter during breaks, some have disappeared, while others have been renovated. Built in stone or brick, they blend harmoniously into the landscape. These lodges were also used as refuges for vagrants, lovers and, during the Second World War, to hide weapons or prisoners. They were also used for family picnics.
