UNIVERSITÉ DU TEMPS LIBRE

Founded in 1977, under the sign of openness, the conviviality of intergenerational solidarity, the Université du Temps d'Orléans is now one of the main actors in the cultural life and animation of the city and the region: its 2 830 members and nine associate university centres in the Region provide proof of this. The UTL is for anyone… who has free time. It gives access to a wide range of lectures, general or specific courses and conferences held over the year by professors and master of conferences at University. It is necessary to register for UTL in order to be able to attend courses, students of UTL may follow the lectures of each university college, but they cannot attend the directed work. The University of free time leads to no diploma or certificate, the idea being just to learn, for pleasure and without qualification conditions.
