L’ESCALIER

A gallery of exhibition, but above all a place of conviviality and exchange, this nice gallery beneath the roofs of a house in Saint-Marceau was born from the meeting of two passionate, Jacques Le Bihan and Denis Perly in 1989. In a welcoming atmosphere, the works of painters, graveurs, sculptors, designers… The particularity of the place is that all these works are put on sale for the full benefit of artists. No lucrative interest, therefore: It is just by love of the art that the owners act… Beautiful exhibitions are organized there. For the record, in 2008: the expo of the famous Mr Chat (created by Thoma Vuille and appeared for the first time in a rue d'Orléans) named "Mr Chat rises to the Staircase"!
