POND OF MARCILLY-LA-VILLETTE

In winter, the pond of Marcilly-en-Villette welcomes ducks and in autumn, small waders. Marcilly is particularly interesting in the spring for watching scaups, mallards and gadwall, great crested grebes and black-necked grebes. At daybreak, all these beautiful birds are often found just in front of the bung from which the water level is regulated. Fishing is possible for amateurs.
