This large, bright ground-floor room has been designed to accommodate disabled guests. It is equipped with a 140x190 double bed and a 90x190 single bed. The en-suite bathroom is also equipped for disabled guests, but is still modern and pleasant.

The Osprey

Our majestic bedroom, like the bird it represents, can accommodate a couple and their fledglings without a care in the world. A mezzanine built into the old roof structure can accommodate a further 2 people. A sitting area adds to the comfort of the room, before relaxing in the private bathroom with its walk-in shower.

The Hoopoe

The decoration of this room is as original as the bird it represents. In fact, the headboard and sliding door of the bathroom were made from the old door of the hangar that was Le Nichoir in the last century. There are even traces of the shells that damaged the building during the last war. The washbasin is based on an old jam basin.

Le Nichoir

We started out with an old hangar that had been unused for a few years and was a "blot" in the center of our little Solognot village. Many people wanted to have it demolished. Our "salvage" and "ecological" spirit wouldn't let it disappear, so we bought it back and are now transforming it into a superb gîte d'étape where I can finally develop my passion for cooking and pass on our love of nature.

Claire and Thierry welcome you to their gîte, nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Lion-en-Sullias. This former hangar has been converted into a superb gîte d'étape and has been awarded the Ecogîte label, providing a warm and comfortable setting for your stay with family or friends. Featuring five spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, it can accommodate up to 15 people. Le Nichoir features a convivial lounge for relaxing, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, so you can feel right at home. You'll also find a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, iron and hairdryer. Breakfast is also available to get the day off to a good start. In the evening, meals based on local produce are available on reservation. For food lovers, Le Nichoir offers baskets of fresh, organic and local vegetables. A Norwegian bath and table soccer are also available, perfect for relaxing and having fun with family and friends.

Une super adresse où j'ai séjourné deux nuits. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, et les propriétaires sont incroyablement aimables et courtois. Leurs petits déjeuners et plats du soir sont délicieux ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter !
